Krono.Works is a context engineering practice. We design systems where knowledge compounds, where AI collaborates as a peer, and where the messy, iterative work of building things actually gets done.
What We Mean by Context
Context is not data
Data sits in databases. Context lives in the relationship between what you know, what you're doing, and what you need next. It's the difference between a file and the reason you opened it.
Every tool we build starts from the same question: how do we preserve the thread of thought across sessions, across tools, across people?
AI works better with memory
Large language models are stateless by default. Every conversation starts from zero. We build the scaffolding that lets AI accumulate understanding — workspace tethers that ground it in project reality, persistent REPLs that survive between commands, and meta-prompting systems that turn plans into executable work.
Solo developers deserve real infrastructure

GSD turns Claude into a systematic collaborator — executable plans, phase-based roadmaps, and context that survives compaction. obsidian-cli bridges your vault to the terminal. RLM gives you a persistent Python REPL for 200MB log files. Each tool solves a real friction point in the daily practice of building software with AI.
Open source AI you actually own
We contribute to Kwaai, a nonprofit lab building the first Personal AI Operating System. The premise is simple: your AI should belong to you. Your data stays local. Your models run on your terms. The "Linux of AI" isn't a tagline — it's an architecture decision.
Governance that fits in a vault
Ricardiam DAO LLC. Eggseed Press. Legal DAO. Our governance, corporate structure, and policy documentation all live as markdown in the same vault as the code. No separate wiki. No stale Confluence pages. The operating agreement is version-controlled alongside the operating system.
Where This Is Going
The trajectory is toward a world where every individual and small team has the same contextual infrastructure that large organizations take for granted. Knowledge graphs that are personal, retrieval systems that are local-first, and AI assistants that genuinely know your work.
